The BREAD (Bethany Rural Education And Development) SOCIETY is a Non-Governmental Organization and has a strong commitment, management of self-sponsored programs, institutional stability and having strong base of Environmental Awareness Programs. The NGO has established a close relationship with the community, achieved recognition and tremendous appreciation from the local government institutes, Gram Panchayat’s, Women Self-help groups and public representatives.

BREAD SOCIETY has been actively associated with programs like TB Alert, Biodiversity conservation, Education and support services for old age people and awareness programs on sustainable agriculture development in rural and tribal villages of Rangareddy & Vikarabad districts, Telangana. The past and present activities in the area for Women and Children have largely been focused on awareness creation, training and livelihood creation.

Bread Society has partnered with Government departments and reputed development agencies such as the TB Alert, NABARD, ATMA etc.

By working closely with the community, BREAD SOCIETY has gained professional experience on development of vulnerable and down-trodden communities, particularly, women, children and small marginal farmers. BREAD SOCIETY believes that for emancipation of such communities, education, health and livelihood creation are the important issues that need to be prioritized.

BREAD SOCIETY has also been working for the integrated socio-economic development of the marginalised and down-trodden sections of community since 2008. Major interventions have been made in the areas of income generation and social empowerment targeted at the women and girls in the mandals of Dharoor, Pudur, Marpally of Vikarabad district of Telangana.

Activities implemented by BREAD SOCIETY have focused not merely on generating awareness among beneficiaries but have included an action component as well in terms of guiding them at every step and providing them with an outlet to organize their latent capabilities.
